Our New Facility
We have relocated and expanded our facility. We wanted to share our excitement with you by showing you our new floor plan.
Annually, our whole staff gets together around what the mission and vision of our clinic should be. Of course, we have many great ideas about what services to provide to help people improve and feel the best they can. Our new facility allows for many of these dreams to come true.
Our builder, Chuck Shepard, also built our existing clinic, so we have a lot of confidence that this will be a well-built, great looking facility. Our new address is 400 E. Hillcrest in DeKalb. The building is handicap-accessible and has plenty of parking. It is situated by the bike trail and by the river, and the views from the many windows in the building are beautiful. We think the atmosphere is a great place to heal, relax, and get strong both for our patients and our staff.
We have expanded the waiting area to accommodate comfortable places for patients and a cozy lounge area for people taking classes to wait for the previous class to let out, or to gather following their class. We will still have a library as our staff values the ability to educate and empower our clients.
Our treatment rooms and our exercise rooms are separated for more privacy and noise control. Our gym is larger and away from both the classroom and treatment rooms. Our classroom accommodates more students and our scheduling for classes are more streamlined and convenient.
Happily, Acupuncture Health Center has moved with us, so you will still have access to great care from Pat Faivre, LAC.

We have also expanded our fitness options to include more strength training. We have purchased a total of four Total Gym Gravity GTS units. It is a more versatile Total Gymsystem that is easier to adjust and more biomechanically correct. We use the equipment with our patients and we will hold group classes of up to 4 people for strengthening. Here are two videos of the Total gym: Total Gym's official video and Creative Therapeutics' Total Gym in action video.
We feel the strength of our clinic is in putting science behind alternative medicine, and with the care and attention we give to our patients and clients. We think this facility is a great home for our passion and ideas.
