Laurie Drake
PT
Laurie received her BA from the University of Tampa in 1982 and her BS from Daemen College in 1989. She was awarded the "Outstanding Member of the Student Body" by the society of Physiotherapist in New York State.
During Laurie’s 21+ years of clinical and teaching experience, she has pioneered the evaluation and treatment protocols in men’s and women’s health care practice. Laurie is an expert in the anatomy of the pelvic floor. In addition to providing extensive training to the medical professionals and lay persons, Laurie instructed with renowned physician Dr. David Simons. Dr. Simons along with Janet Travell, MD are responsible for the body of research on muscular trigger points and the treatment of pain in the muscles.
Her passion in developing a team approach, blending Eastern and Western methodologies was pivotal in joining Creative Therapeutics.
Laurie's interests include music, yoga and motivational speaking on mind and body wellness.
