PELVICORE EXERCISE CLASS STARTING SEPTEMBER 22ND!
Creative Therapeutics will be offering another session of the Pelvicore Exercise Class through Kishwaukee College. You may be thinking—what is Pelvicore? It's an exercise class that brings awareness, strength, and stability to your core muscles and enhances your overall fitness level. This six-week, 45 minute class utilizes a wonderful tool called a "Pelvicore Ball" which is specifically designed to tone your core muscles. Pelvicore is a fun, safe aerobic environment. The class will strengthen your abdominal, pelvic floor, inner and outer thighs, waist, buttocks and more!
After having my daughter two years ago, I found it incredibly difficult to strengthen and trim my abdominal with traditional exercises. However, using the Pelvicore Ball on a regular basis decreased my abdominal split and helped me return to my pre-pregnancy tone. I also use the Pelvicore Ball in therapy with my women's health patients who need a lot of pelvic and core strengthening. When I taught the class before, we had a great time; it's a laid-back, unintimidating atmosphere and a great work out!

Do you have lower back or neck pain? In this workshop, Cara will share the yoga poses, stretches and relaxation techniques that have helped alleviate and prevent her own lower back pain and SI joint issues. We will explore back-friendly variations of common yoga poses, and focus on those that can lessen discomfort or stiffness in the neck and upper back. We will also discuss how small changes in lifestyle can help keep your spine healthy.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of student who are currently experiencing mild to moderate back issues. Prior yoga experience is helpful, but not required. This workshop is not intended to be a substitute for therapy or medical treatment, but can serve as a support to current treatment.
