Pelvicore Exercise Class
Creative Therapeutics will be offering another session of the Pelvicore Exercise Class. You may be thinking -- what is Pelvicore? It's an exercise class that brings awareness, strength, and stability to your core muscles and enhances your overall fitness level. This six-week, 45 minute class utilizes a wonderful tool called a "Pelvicore Ball" which is specifically designed to tone your core muscles. Pelvicore is an aerobic workout that will get you to sweat! The class will strengthen your abdominal, pelvic floor, inner and outer thighs, waist, buttocks and more!
After having my daughter two years ago, I found it incredibly difficult to strengthen and trim my abdominal with traditional exercises. However, using the Pelvicore Ball on a regular basis decreased my abdominal split and helped me return to my pre-pregnancy tone. I also use the Pelvicore Ball in therapy with my women's health patients who need a lot of pelvic and core strengthening. When I taught the class before, we had a great time; it's a laid-back, unintimidating atmosphere and a great work out!

Tai Chi for Arthritis
Join us for an 8 week session of Tai Chi for Arthritis!
The Tai Chi for Arthritis program has been developed so that individuals with pain or difficulty with movement can more easily practice Tai Chi. Arthritis organizations worldwide recognize this program, including organizations in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Korea, Hong Kong, and Norway.
The Tai Chi for Arthritis program at Creative Therapeutics is designed for individuals who have pain or difficulty with movement, but is open to anyone eager to learn an abbreviated form of this relaxing martial art.
Tai Chi has its origins in Chinese martial arts. It is comprised of smooth, slow, flowing movements performed while breathing deeply and evenly. Research over the past ten years has shown that performing Tai Chi regularly can be beneficial for individuals with arthritis pain, fibromyalgia, and flexibility and balance problems. Some of the benefits of practicing Tai Chi are increased flexibility and strength, improved posture, decrease in pain and stiffness associated with arthritis or fibromyalgia, improved balance, decreased incidence of falls, and relaxation.
