Help Odanadi put an end to human trafficking
Roll out your Yoga mats on March 13th 2010 for an around-the-world sun salutation, to take a stand against human trafficking in India and show your support to its millions of victims.
Yoga Stops Traffick India will be led from the grounds of the Mysore Royal Palace by 90 young people from local anti-trafficking organisation Odanadi Seva Trust, many of whom are survivors of slavery, domestic abuse and forced prostitution. Over the years Astanga Yoga has come to play a vital role to their rehabilitation process: building their physical and mental strength, restoring a sense of peace, confidence and self-worth. The Odanadi residents will be joined by at least 200 visiting yoga practitioners from around the world.
Over the past 20 years Odanadi has rescued more than 1850 women and children, carried out over 60 brothel raids and brought 137 traffickers to justice. 100% of the money raised by this event will go directly to Odanadi, to support them in carrying out this crucial work.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, we would like you to join us on March 13th by donating $20 and performing a mala of sun salutations. 100% of proceeds will go directly to Odanadi!

Yoga Classes
Experience a yoga class unlike any other at Creative Therapeutics. Our teachers combine their extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology with the yogic philosophy of uniting the mind, body and spirit through the use of Hatha Yoga asanas, or poses. The instructors correct each individual's form and incorporate the use of props to correct alignment and deepen the experience of the pose. Each pose is easily adapted to ensure that participants at every level are successful. When yoga asanas are taught with attention to the body and form, they can truly bring about life altering changes. These changes range from improved strength, flexibility, and balance to decreased pain, anxiety, and tension, which can ultimately improve your quality of life and your relationships with others.

It can be beneficial for every stage of pregnancy, and it gives the ever-changing pregnant woman a tool for self-awareness and relaxation. In class, you will learn to learn to use yoga’s mind/body awareness to connect with your own innate wisdom, body and your growing baby. Prenatal will assist you in strengthening the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Prenatal can also help you alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. The class includes a mixture of balancing, strengthening and stretching poses that are appropriate during pregnancy, emphasizing breathing and relaxation.
